This photo was taken in Rome, Georgia. This photo was taken ouside of a building and it must be in the middle of the day because it is light out. This is in an urban area because there are buildings and wires around. There aren't any people in this photo. What caught my eye was the sign because it tells you that black or "colored" people were segregated from others. There are buildings which are probably businesses in this photo. There isn't that much space because it looks like it is in a city and there are buildings and wires around the object. It is light out but this is a negative photograph. It is seperating blacks from whites and that is not good. I would ask why is there a separate waiting room and what is the waiting room for?

This photo was taken in Memphis, Tennessee. This picture was taken outside during the day in an urban area. There is one person inside of the store but I cannot see anything that he doing, and I can barely see him. What caught my eye was the writing on the window that said "for colored" because this store must be just for African Americans. There are businesses going on on this street. The spacing is not very good because it looks like it is a busy city and its surroundings are sidewalks and another store. This is light and positive because nothing bad is happening and it is daytime out. I would ask where everyone was and I would ask why that restaurant was only for colored people.

This photo was taken in Durham, North Carolina. This photo was taken outside in an urban area and it looks like that it is daytime by looking at the reflection on the glass. There is one guy in the cafe that looks like he is at least 40 and is wearing a white dress shirt. What caught my eye the best was the sign that said that hamburgers were 5 cents because that is extremely cheap compared to how much hamburgers are today. By looking at the reflection in the glass, you can tell that there are businesses in that area and there is not a lot of spacing. This photo is light and postive because it is during the day and everybody is minding theirown business having a good time. I would ask why the guy in the cafe looks so ticked off and I would ask why hamburgers were that cheap.
